2nd Dental Check..

I brought Dillion for his 2nd Dental Check at the School Dental Centre on Thursday.

Our appointment was 8.40 am but we were an hour late as I need to find my way around after alighting at Outram MRT.

We waited 20 minutes for registration and shortly our number was called for the designated cubicle for dental check.

They were many cubicles and quite frightening (to me) and we were next to a kid whom was screaming hysterically. Thankfully D was not affected.

The night before, I read him the Going to Dentist book and told him that he would have to sit on the 'special chair' on his own and can't lie on top of me like his previous visit to ToofDoctor and open his mouth wide for the Dentist to check.

D climbed on the special chair on his own but refused to lie back and kept fidgeting with the tools.
There were 2 lady staffs there (assuming 1 was the Dentist, the other was the Dental Assistant)trying to coax and persuade him. Then I took out a box of blueberries which did the trick!

D was very co operative much to my surprise! The Dentist confirmed that his 2 lower molars are errupting and managed to count and polished them.

The Dental staffs handling D were quite professional and I doubt they were Dental Students as they look quite 'Aunties' to me. They were full of praises for him and commented that his teeth are in good condition and no mentioned of cavities. I must say that I'm proud of my lil' boy!

The check up only cost me $9!! And I be making another appointment in 6 months time!
