An incident to share :
Couple of days back, while waiting for the train to arrive at Toa Payoh station.. Dillion was watching the TV about the Terrorist attack in the station.
He saw a footage of the train exploded when it enter the tunnel.
This image somehow frighten him and affected him such that he ran back to me, pulled my hand and wanted to take the escalator to the control station.
He simply refused to wait and board the train and kept on saying "No fire on the train.. don't take train.. go back please"
I had to explain and coax him by telling him that there are so many passengers here and everyone is fine.. its only a movie and the train will not explode.
He finally calmed down and I carried him into the train. Thankfully it was only 1 stop and he was fine after that.
Few days later, we took the train from Toa Payoh again and he remembered the scary incident (but I long forgotten about it)that he refused to take the escalator down to the station with me.
I had to explained to him again and managed to calm him down.
Oh dear.. I realised he is so grown up now and understand things better. So its a good learning experience for me.
