About Vitamins and Supplements..

Just as we are to pop to champagne on Dillion sleeping independently..he came down with cough.
Since he slept on the floor, he started coughing every night in the wee hours of 5-6am.
We guess that it could be too cold for him. Ironically, when he slept on our bed he would perspire but we would be freezing cold under the covers.
When he slept on the floor, his hands and legs are cold to the touch even though its further away from the air-con.

We brought him to our regular PD. She told us that its not a good idea to let D sleep on the floor since he has sensitive airways as hot air rises, cold air sinks. Thus he always cough in the middle of the night.
If possible, to sleep with fan instead for better air circulation.

I asked her about Vitamins and Supplements for D since I'm concerned whether I'm over-dosing him daily.

Currently, he is taking:
Childlife Colostrum Powder

added to his morning milk feed, once a day. Purchased from Vitacost oversea spree or can be bought from GNC local stores.

Daily vitamins:
He took and completed Nutrition Now Rhino Gummy Bear Vitamins once a day.

Can be purchased either from overseas spree or GNC.

So I started him on KAWAI Kanyu Drop C20 twice daily, as recommended by the PD.

can be purchased either from local bulk purchase retailing at $30+ or from PDs at $40

In the afternoon..
I alternate between
1) Sambucus Berry Flavoured

Can be purchased from Vitacost overseas spree or Vita kids local stores

2) DHA Omega 3 Junior fish oil with orange flavour (googled but can't seem to find any info on it) as recommended and sold by myPD on alterate day.

It was not easy getting D to swallow this as I had to entice him with sweet treats or the Kanyu drops that he loves!

At least D is willing to take this as compared to Nordic Naturals Arctic Cod Liver Oil Orange which in my opinion is really smelly.

The PD gave green light for all to be given and told me to give Sambucus for daily maintenance instead of alternating it with Fish oil. The DHA fish oil can be given on alternate days.
