Anniversary, Movie & Accident..

Kevin and I celebrated our 8th year of Marriage on Tue. No romantic dinner or surprises but at least the Man obliged by going down town since he always had crowd phobia and would never like to go to major shopping centres unless necessary.

Been wanting to try out Morton Steakhouse but since the demise of Kevin's grandma, we decided to abort the idea since he din want to take beef and then we have a light bulb Dillion tagging along with us.. not romantic at all!

Dinner:
So off we went to Marina Square for a yucky jappy meal at MOF.. their food sucks! I had salmon sashimi salad and the sashimi was not fresh and the soft shell crabs taste horrible. Writing them off!

Movie:
We made an impromptu decision to bring D to watch How to Train your Dragon movie in 3D! We were hesitant as you need to wear a 3D glasses and D may not be co operative to do so.

He proved us wrong! The glasses were a tad big for him as it kept sliding down so Daddy got to hold on the glasses for him. He managed to wear them 80% of the show and sat through 90 min movie with us.

Accident:
On way home.. while waiting at the traffic junction to turn green.. a car knocked our boot. It was a slight knock as Kevin was not aware of it till I had to tell him that someone kised our backside!

Turns out to be a 3 cars collision. One ass hole jerk whom chose to DRINK AND DRIVE.. knock the middle car causing both front and back collision.
We had minor scratches on the back and the three of us were unscathed.

The driver and passenger of the middle car complained of sprained neck due to the impact.

At the moment, I'm so very thankful that we were the 1st car and no major damages to us and our car!

And most importantly.. CAR SEAT! D was secured in a car seat but he was sitting in front seat (so that he can watch the DVD player in front). If we were the middle car.. I think we may just end up in the hospital!

We bought our new ride last Dec and we were relieved that D did not protest when we put him in a car seat which he had never sat in one since he was born!

I can only stress the importance of placing your child in a car seat as we can never take their safety for granted! Especially when we have reckless and inconsiderate drivers on the road!
Plese If you Drink, Please do not Drive! Spare a thought for other road users!
