I'm not very comfortable with the way Dillion holds his pencil. It seem awkward to me seeing him wrap his fingers and thumb around it. Is quite normal for a toddler to hold it this way and I believe his teacher in CC been guiding him but he seem most comfortable in the awkward way. I had been correcting countless times at home but yet, he revert back to his usual style after a short while.
So I trooped down to Popular bookstore and made a lil' investments in writing instruments to aid him.
1.
Staedtler Mars ergosoft triangular pencil
2. Lyra 12 pc triangular coloured pencils
3.
Crayola Triangular crayons
He is still adjusting to the correct way but 80% of time, he still prefer his usual style of holding a pencil.

Does the triangular pencils help in proper pen grip? Anyway just to share ... Desiree used to "palm grip" until almost 5 years old but she's doing fine now ... guess kids need some time to "adjust" to the proper grip.
His alphabets are very well written! Don't think mine can write so well yet ...
