A child's love is so genuine and sincere. When Dillion tells me "I love you Mummy", I knew he said that from the bottom of his heart.
It never failed to perk me up and remind me to count my blessings to have sucha affectionate son whom is forever so generous with his hugs and kisses. I think most boys would feel shy once they grow up and would not even hug their Parents in public.
At times, when Dillion misbehave, I would punish him. I can be pretty harsh and stern on him.
Only at this age, he does not bear grudges or hate me for using the cane or when I smacked him. He would never fail to ask me for a hug after a punishment which made me feel so guilty and felt like a lousy Mummy.
Till now, we are still so close all thanks to the 2 years of being a SAHM and I knew I hold a very important place in his heart even though we don't spend so much time together as I have started working and he is in full day childcare.
He still wants me and no one else to sleep with him during his naps and night time.. Yes I should cherish those moments of being wanted and deeply loved by my son.
