Dillion in his new uniform after attending 2 weeks trial period at his new child care since he started in 1 Dec 2010.
He surprised me by adapting and settling really fast in a new environment.
On 1st day of school, he cried and clinged on to us when we send him down. But we just gave him a hug and left him for work. I called back and his teacher told me stopped crying shortly and even ate alot and took a nap without fussing.
2nd day onwards.. he whined when he entered and I requested Teachers to let him do some colouring and it helped to distract him. Thereafter, he stepped into the Centre without any fuss.
I can sense that he is still in denial mode or rather still misses his previous Centre badly. I asked him what he learns in school and his teacher's name.. he would reply "LetterLand and Mrs Yat" which is what he learnt and his favourite teacher in YMCA.
And he scared me a bit when he turned emotional before bedtime, telling me he "misses Mrs Yat alot"..
Anyway, he is now happily settled and adjusting well.. more updates on his child care will be on another blog post!
