Gardens by the Bay on 17 August 2012

We finally got a chance to go to the Gardens by the Bay after seeing so many of our friends posting their photos on FB and blogs. I hope we are not the last few Singaporeans to visit this much talked about place.

We thought of waiting for the hyped and excitement to die down as we or rather the Husband have this crowd phobia :p and also with a hyper active toddler Damien along, its a hassle!

So when the Boys' God parents offered to fetch us and to show us around the Gardens  on 17 Aug we gladly took up the offer.  We were there in the evening and its a pity that when we reached the sky looks overcast and started to drizzle a little after walking around for 30minutes.

I am very impressed with the landscape and makes the whole area looks so scenic and majestic. I'm so in awe with the Flower Dome and it would be even more colourful at night. The outdoor Gardens by the Bay is free by the way .. and you would have to pay if you want to go up to the Conservatories and OCBC skyway.

Outdoor itself is a huge open space to walk around.. and Dillion was one cranky boy whose mood seem to change like the weather and keep insisting of sitting instead of walking with us.  What a spoiler!

So be warned to bring a stroller if you think your kid will get tire out easily!

MBS overlooking the Gardens
Supertree grove
OCBC sky way that cost $5 and if you have height phobia don't attempt to go up

Very long queue to buy tickets for the Conservatories..
we gave up q-ing after 5min..
