I had a hard time deciding on which bakery to go for because D can't give me a definite answer on the cartoon character he wants on the cakes.
I gave him 3 choices of Elmo, Mickey mouse and Thomas & Friends. And I also could not make up my mind which bakery to go for so believe it or not..I did a frantic booking of his cake on the eve of celebration.
Decided to go for Bengawan Solo since its the nearest branch in Bishan and they have most of the cartoon cakes. Make a call to the head office and they managed to squeeze in my order.
I let D browse through their website to select his cakes.. and he decided that he wants Pooh Bear instead..
His choice of cake which according to the bakery that this is the most popular designs:
2 kg choco sponge with blueberry filling to feed 20 kids..

still left abit but then i think they distribute to some teachers also. you can ask J's sch teacher whats the standard size to order :)
I asked..she said 1kg ...there's 28kids..so I was wondering she got say correctly or not ah when I saw your post.. :p
maybe they cut small slices and scared of wastage. then u shd juz go for 1kg.. haha can save money :)
