Dillion been in the ChildCare for 6 months.. how time flies! He is adapting well and loves going to school everyday. Now he steps into the school without even looking back at me or did not even bother to say goodbye.
Some updates..
On Milk and Bolster
Since Feb onwards, the teachers have requested not to bring milk feed and bolster for his nap. I'm more than happy to oblige as it means lesser stuffs to pack.
Glad that he could still take his nap without his bolster.
On Toilet Training
Few weeks back, I told a white lie to his teacher that Dillion would only wants to wear his underwear and refused to wear his pull ups to school.
Then on no wet incidents reported. He only wore his pull up after bath (for his naps).
He has also gone diaper less when I picked him up from school in the late afternoon.
Means that his teachers had been toilet training him. But I suspect that he is still not used to telling them his needs to pee/poo.
On being Independent
Positive Feedback from his Form teacher today was that he is able to wear his own shoes though 90% he always wear them on the wrong side.
He always have good appetite during lunch and would polish off every thing and loves eating his fruits.
He was praised for being able to self-feed unlike some of his classmates.
On Disciplinary Issue
Usual gripe about this boy is that he is pretty possessive on the toys that he plays with. And he loves to disturb his friends.
Incident 1:
It was a snatching incident between Dillion and a girl.. the girl lost her balance and fell and hit her head. Thankfully it was not a serious knock. Otherwise, sure get complain from the Parents.
Incident 2:
Arts and Craft lesson. He was doing his colouring, then suddenly he turned and drew on his friend's clothes and even attempted to poke him/her with the crayons.
