Our Weekday Routine..

I will usually leave the house at 7.50am so that I can reach my office on time at 8.30 am.

8-9 am: Boys will wake up, have breakfast, changed to their uniform.

9am - 5pm: Dillion attends full day child care centre just below our flat. Damien attend full day on Tue & Thurs, rest are on half-days till 1pm.

5-6pm: Boys have dinner at home. Home cooked porridge by Grandma. Yes, Dillion still loves eating porridge! Damien is quite a tacky person when comes to eating.. all depends on his mood if he want to eat or not.

5.20 pm: I knock off from work. Only on month end, I will work a tad later due to account closing like till 6pm.

6pm: Time that I reached home from work. Thats when I will do abit of housework like keeping laundry and folding of clothes and then turn on washing maching to wash the days' laundry ( while waiting for the Boys to get ready.)

7pm: We will normally go out for dinner on Tue , Thurs and Fri as these days are designated Library Days for Dillion. Otherwise, I will buy dinner back for Kevin and I.

7-8pm: If we are at home, the Boys get to watch the telly- Playhouse Disney until "Word World" or "Bananas in Pyjamas" or depends on when I finished doing the laundry or when I'm more settled down after washing up.

8-9 pm: Reading / worksheet time.. This does not happen everyday as I tend to let the Boys watch longer telly on days when I feel lazy to spend time doing reading for Damien or doing/writing for Dillion.

10pm: Turn down time for the boys.. and light off and I will be the one doing the bed-time duty with the Boys so that Kevin can be free up to do his own stuffs. And also tucking them and accompanying them is the best way to bond especially I don't spend quality hours with them since I'm working.

So thats the life of a Full-time working Mum.. It never easy to be able to juggle multiple task of housework, parenting, work , child care responsibilities.

I am very tired out at end of the day after facing the Computer, dollar & cents and numbers during the day.. and when I reach home, I just want to hit the sack but then tons of things that I need to do like spending time with the Boys and yet still have to do the housework.

The next issue that I need to ponder upon will be Dillion's academic. As he will soon be going Primary school in year 2014 and yet I had been very very lax about his studies as I believe attending a full day child care from 9-5pm is more than enough for a kindy child. So I tend not to further tire him out with extra lessons or enrichment in the evening and weekends.

He has a few more months to enjoy as after he turns 6 year old next year, i really have to start preparing him for Pri 1.
