Dillion loves playing with my cousins' children now! Reminds me of my childhood.. and so glad that I'm still very close to my cousins on my paternal side.

V Day- Part I

14 Feb 09, Sat - Valentine Day
We woke up early and went for a stroll at the Upper Pierce Reservoir..



They went down to take a look at a father-son doing some fishing. I was telling Kevin how nice it would when D is older, they can do some activities together






We went for Prata after that.. I love waking up early and having breakfast with my family!

And I just recalled that we also went there last Feb when i look back at my blog entry here.. and see how much D has changed!

D's Great Grand Pa..

Great GrandPa had a sudden black out and broke his left arm days before CNY. We hope he will recover fast.

He been discharged from TTS which makes me realise we have affinity with this hospital. Last year, my MIL was warded for her back problem just weeks before CNY too.

Nevertheless, all is well at home but seem like I can't bring D over to let Great Grand Ma babysit.

Before i was a mum..

I stumbled upon this when i was blog-hopping. Its a good read.. true reflection of my own

Before I was a Mom

I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.

I didn’t worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.

I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom -

I had never been puked on.

Pooped on.

Chewed on.

Peed on.

I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.

I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom

I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.

Or give shots.

I never looked into teary eyes and cried.

I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.

I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mom

I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn’t want to put him down.

I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn’t stop the hurt.

I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.

I never knew that I could love someone so much.

I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom -

I didn’t know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.

I didn’t know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.

I didn’t know that bond between a mother and her child.

I didn’ t know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.

Before I was a Mom -

I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.

I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache,

the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.

I didn’t know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.

Went for haircut.. clown around @home then out to J8 again to meet a friend for dinner.
Waiting for feeder bus. Ok.. admit.. he looks like a girl with hood on!

When you say 'kok' he will lean forward and knock our head! He is really growing up and starting to understand instruction!

Hotel stay @ Marina Mandarin

After the shoot, we checked into Marina Mandarin for part 2 of birthday celebration.
We were impressed by the hospitality and good service rendered by the hotel.

We made an impromptu decision to bring Dillion for a swim as it was deem too heavy to pack his float and pump. Thank god i brought his disposable swim diaper. The hotel staffs @swimming pool were attentive. They gave us towels, ushered us to the beach chair and even loan us floats for D but it was not big for him.

Glad that D enjoyed swimming and he sure is a water baby!

Daddy's birthday..

We had a mini celebration for Kevin as his birthday falls on 2 Mar!

Upper Peirce Reservoir

A morning brisk walk @ Upper Peirce Reservoir last Sunday. We push the stroller around for mere 20 min then our stomach hollered us to go for breakfast!



Appreciating the nature? The boy don't seem that interested..

Off we go to Causuarina Prata place for some yummy pratas and teh tarik. Dillion won't let us eat in peace unless he has his share.. self feeding on his own!

A trip to the Reservoir

We decided to shed the fats off after too much of CNY feasting so we woke up early at 8am last sunday and troop down to Mc Ritchie reservoir and also to bring D to look at the water, flower, trees, birds, pretty girls jogging and ah gong, ah ma exercising.. :)

The air is so much fresher over there and i told Kevin that we must make an attempt to do this every weekend.



Thereafter to TPY wet market to buy fresh pork for D's porridge and to the temple to pray my late mum. Finally she get to 'see' her grandson.

Hotel Stay @ Swissotel

The Family together with Dillion's grandma and aunt went for a hotel stay @ Swissotel on 22-23 Dec 07. This stay is sorta Xmas gift for MIL & SIL in appreciation for their time and effort in looking after Dillion. And also a chance to soak into the festive mood as the weather had not been looking good lately so we can't bring Dillion to view the lighting at Orchard. Let the photos do the talking!

Xmas Gift- Part I

Dillion had his first Xmas party over at his maternal side.
This time, we all had fun as we have more babies joining the brood. I had a hard time deciding on what to get for my cousin's kiddo so i bought Brainy Baby VCD for them.

I'm surprised that Dillion received so much pressie from my relatives as the clan is big so we normally do not buy for each other. Since there are only 6 great grand children so the focus is on them.

Its a pity there is no Xmas tree in the house. Otherwise the pressie will look good sitting underneath it.

Sherlynn's Birthday

We attended Mei Ling's baby girl, Sherlynn 1 year old birthday party at SAF holiday chalet @Changi.

We were late as usual thus we missed the cake cutting session. we fed Dillion his dinner before we head out. Food was yummy and impressive.

HAPPY 5TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY .. PAPA KEVIN!
We crossed the half a decade mark on 30 Nov. Yeah.. We have our ups and downs but nothing beat having our Baby Dillion to join us as 2 become 3 in the Ng family!

3rd Dec 07:
Kevin & I decided to have some couple time after work. We had a nice meal at Pasta de Waraku, Central branch. Their yummilicious menu and food display outside the restaurant make it difficult to decide what to eat.

We reached home at 9ish then I quickily bathed & wash bottles then accompany my King Dillion to sleep. Issit heart warming when you dear son actually wait up for you before he sleep?
Anyhow.. this chap still din wanna sleep at 10+pm as i think he is still waiting for me to do usual stuffs like reading, singing and rolling the bed with him.. (yes, we flip together on the bed).

In the end, i played peek-a-boo with him by hidding at side of the bed.. He had a good laugh then willingly slept at 11pm. OMG! I'm dead tired.

Wedding of Thomas & Qiaowen

D attended his 2nd wedding event of Kevin's buddy- Thomas & Qiaowen at Traders Hotel



Thanks to Celeste for babysiting D while we eat:

D turned cranky at 9+pm because its almost his bed time.. So both of us have to take turn to carry him. A guest at our table ask if D has any blanket etc as a comfort for him.
Nope, D does not have any. Not sure if is good or bad thing not to have any security blanket as the fellow detest pacifier.. kick away his blanket and cast his bolster aside when he is asleep.

How to have comfort? ME lor *grin*

Halloween party

If you are in trouble and need a superbaby, pls do not hesistate to give me my mummy a holler and we will fly crawl to your rescue!

My cousin, joan organised a Halloween party for the 4th generation kids. So here comes my boy in his superman suit


Is a fun night for the adults i think as we laugh over our children's costume.
