What he can say..

At this age, Dillion is talking much more and in sentences. Sometimes we can even hold a short conversation.

Few of them which I remembered or often said :

"Mummy buy bubble tea / hot tea for Dillion" - whenever we walked past bubbletea or coffee shop on way home.

"Watch Little Pig let me in CD" - refering to LeapFrog's Learn to Read at the Storybook Factory

"Daddy, Mummy eat" - this is a sweet gesture from D which he will say everytime before he eats. I taught him to say that before he can have his meals.

He can now recite and sing his A-Z and number 1 to 10 in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Teochew

"No Heart" son..

Some time back, I posted a video on how Dillion refused to share his snack with me..

Here another one..

Incident I:
I was having my dinner together with D at home.. and he kept scooping my rice away into his bowl! I certainly hope he is just being playful!

Incident II:
I made bread for myself and D saw and say "Mummy.. Dee Dee eat bread". So I let him have a bite.. who knows this fellow grab my bread and ran away.*grr*

This heartless son of mine!

No Sharing..

Lately Dillion adopted this "No Sharing" attitude especially towards food.
He refused to share or let us binge on his food...

And he is no longer the friendly boy.. he will say "No" whenever a stranger smile or say 'Hi' to him. Whats up with this boy??

妈妈,爱你!

Last week, in celebration of Mother's Day, the chinese teacher in GUG taught them to say 妈妈,我爱你 (Mummy, I love you).

Thick-skinned mummy went home and kept asking her son to repeat and he managed to do but with omission of "我".

He can now say 妈妈,爱你!to me several times and I also taught him "爸爸,我爱你".

Dillion can now utter a few manadarin words and also count 1-10 as we exposing and talking to him more in mandarin lately.

A Labour Day..

As the title say.. it was a labour day for me at home with Dillion. Just the two of us as Kevin got work comittments.

Because of the nasty swine virus, I decided to keep the fella at home for a day and it turned out to be a bad choice as he mess up the house:

1) Wet (urine) accident in the living room because I was merely few minutes late in bringing him to the toilet

2) Attempting to pour chrys tea from bottle to his cup hence spilling on to kitchen floor

3) Threw his dinner on the floor. I was in kitchen, leaving him to self feed and it was a nightmare seeing rice all over the floor. Think he must have accidentally flipped his bowl over.
Needless to say, he got a lashing from me.

4) Spill plain water from his cup when he was walking around.

Kevin thought perhaps he was too bored at home as he rarely at home in the evenings.

Anyway.. some things he done to redeem himself:

Forming a railway track with his blocks on his own

Posing happily with his creation

Then destroying them

I heard him laughing behind my back .. and he did this:

Mr Vainpot..

I think all kids likes to imitate the adults.

Dillion took my bag and wore my shoes around.. which was the same ensemble when I went out a while ago

Kids are so innocent.. do silly things to make us laugh. They bring joy to our lives!

Yesterday, on our way to his GUG lesson.. D insisted in carrying my bag which I refused because its big and heavy for him.
So he tugged my bag and i had to tussle with him as we walked.. then he shouted "Hold Mummy's Bag" loudly and repeatedly.

Dancing in the Rain?

We brought Dillion to Toys R Us @ Vivo the weekend before his birthday.
We got him a mini umbrella as part of his presents since he been saying "Umber Umber" whenever he sees one.

So his dear Daddy suggested bringing him to ADMIRE the fountain outside Bakerzin as I went to the washroom..

My jaws dropped and my eyes popped out when I saw my dear Dillion doing this:

And it somehow attracted a small crowd around us. Boy it was so embarassing and when Dillion saw them cheering him on.. he gets excited and refused to leave!
His Daddy said that since his b'day is drawing near, we should INDULGE him!!

Rest of the pressie we got for him:

Motorised Car rides..

Remember sitting on these motorised cars at People Park Complex when you were a kid? I remembered how I loved them and even begged my mum for "more more more" rides but often left me crying and leaving me alone because my mum simply refused to indulge me.

We saw one at TPY last weekend and Kevin decided to let Dillion have a go at it. With a whopping price of $3 for a mere 15 minutes ride.. I almost wanted to reject but then seeing how much D loves his kiddy rides, I decided to indulge him!

Remote controlled by Daddy:

Sticker time

Other than using sticker as a reward for poo-ing into the toilet bowl.. we let Dillion try sticking them on the book.

Such a whimper..

Dillion can be such a whimper when he tries packing his toys aside but yet it kept falling down much to his frustration:
My jaws dropped when Dillion came out of our bedroom looking for me because he was supposed to be in his playpen.
My first thought was did he fall when he climbed out? Since no cries means no fall.
He attempted the stunt again when i placed him back.. now we figure how he managed to get out:
