"No Heart" son..

Some time back, I posted a video on how Dillion refused to share his snack with me..

Here another one..


Incident I:
I was having my dinner together with D at home.. and he kept scooping my rice away into his bowl! I certainly hope he is just being playful!

Incident II:
I made bread for myself and D saw and say "Mummy.. Dee Dee eat bread". So I let him have a bite.. who knows this fellow grab my bread and ran away.*grr*



This heartless son of mine!

A Labour Day..

As the title say.. it was a labour day for me at home with Dillion. Just the two of us as Kevin got work comittments.

Because of the nasty swine virus, I decided to keep the fella at home for a day and it turned out to be a bad choice as he mess up the house:

1) Wet (urine) accident in the living room because I was merely few minutes late in bringing him to the toilet

2) Attempting to pour chrys tea from bottle to his cup hence spilling on to kitchen floor

3) Threw his dinner on the floor. I was in kitchen, leaving him to self feed and it was a nightmare seeing rice all over the floor. Think he must have accidentally flipped his bowl over.
Needless to say, he got a lashing from me.

4) Spill plain water from his cup when he was walking around.

Kevin thought perhaps he was too bored at home as he rarely at home in the evenings.

Anyway.. some things he done to redeem himself:

Forming a railway track with his blocks on his own


Posing happily with his creation


Then destroying them


I heard him laughing behind my back .. and he did this:

Battle before sleep

Before he sleeps for the night, Dillion will babble many words as if he is practicing words that he already knew.

He will say 'Pineapple, Bah nana, Apple, Peach, Pear, Grapes, Orange' then
'Triangle, square, oval, rect, heart shape, star';
'A, B, C, D... H, K, M..';
'Daddy, Mummy, DD'


Then look into our face, pointing and saying 'Eyes, nose, mouth, head, hair, ear'

Then repeat till it radio silence which means he is in snoozeland.

And its not easy pretending to sleep because we were trying our best not to laugh.

Lil' Monkey..

I went to the kitchen to wash the dishes after feeding him lunch then I found him sitting on the tray waiting for me to carry him because he don't know how to get down!



And then giving me a scare when I just took a few seconds look away to grab my keys and to find him up on my gate! Arrgh!


I can't take my eyes off you .. my dear Dillion!

Cheeky boy..

You know your boy is so cheeky when you are taking laundry out of the wash machine, he keeps attempting to close the machine cover and does it with a evil grin- Hur hur hur!! And he is so happy to disrupt your work.

When you bring him out in the mall.. He wishes to go opposite direction from you. But you do not allow him so what does he do?
Just happily plonked his bum on the floor and not look at you.

I left him alone and walked away to hide in a corner.. he spotted me and used his hands to cover his eyes and played peek-a-boo!

There are so many incidents where by i left him sitting on the floor in public places and he seem to be ejoying all the attentions and stare given by the public. Sometimes he can even wave Hi to them.


This is my son and I still love him loads!

I can bath myself..

Lately Dillion had been showing signs of independent when he insist in us pouring the shampoo / shower foam onto his palms and then lather his own hair and body.

And also wanting to hold on to the shower head thus making the person whom is bathing him all wet as he still can't control it well.

It was a heart warming sight to see the father-son bathing together.. and hearing Daddy say "Dillion .. wash my hair.. wash my arms.. yadda yadda"
and then splashing water at one another.

Happy Face..

Dillion will do this when we asked for 'Happy face'


Recently, when mummy face turn black upon seeing his naughty antics.. D will point at my face and say "Mad, Mad, Mad".
Cute huh? He learnt this in GUG in the phonic segment.

My Helper..

Sometimes letting Dillion tag along with me on a super marketing trip can be more of a hindrance when he insisted on helping me with my basket of goods.
Because its heavy so he had to drag it on the floor.. much to the amusement of the shoppers around us

The strawberries in the heart shaped box is from Korea.. very sweet and yums!



I bought bananas and let D carried them.. see how uncle he can be!

He is so Auntie..

Dillion is such a cheeky boy at times.. he caught me by surprise by taking out my shoes and wearing them:

Proper dinning manners..

Few saturdays ago, after D's GUG lesson, we went to Jack's Place for their vaule for money set lunch to satisfy my beef craving (I'm not pregnant). Their NZ SIRLOIN STEAK WITH
RED WINE SAUCE only cost $10.30.. its very YUMS!

Since D will be having lunch with us and I did not want to stuff him with only bits and pieces of beef.. I hop over to the supermarket and bought Heinz's jarred Cinamon Porridge for his lunch.

We were pleasantly surprised that D was in an exceptionally good mood.. he finished the bottle without fuss and did not ask to be fed from our table. And he also ate whatever stuffs we fed like soup, bread and bits of steak.
No screaming, spitting out of food, whining, banging of cutlery on table or climbing out of the chair that day.. which is his normal behaviour since its near to his nap time.




We enjoyed our lunch in peace with D's good table manners that I told myself to blog about this thinking my boy is a changed person..

Seem like this boy cannot be praised.. he was back to his normal behaviour the very next day when we were having buffet.. which is nothing new to us.

We had dinner at Swiss Culture, Suntec and Dillion amused us with his antics when he heard the song- Built to Last playing at the background


Everone was amused including the service staff and diners there.. well the Parents are stunned for a moment wondering is that their SON???

Hugs and Kisses..

Monday, 15 Sep 08..
I was out to ran some errands and left Dillion under his Daddy's care. I came home and was shocked to see toys lying all over the living room and packed them. Then D crawled over and gave me a smile then came over and hug me from behind.
Aw.. So sweet yah! His action just made my day. His hug was tight and he gave me a kiss then lay his head on my back.
Guess he must have missed me since i had never left him alone since i turned SAHM.

Kisses..
My boy is so generous with his kisses. When we ask for one.. he will not hesistate to kiss his daddy/mummy. He will also do it on our friends/relatives when asked.
Perhaps he have seen his daddy kiss his mummy?
I hope he won't anyhow go round kissing girls in school!

ABC, Bird & Fish..

Hopefully our ears are not playing tricks with us but we seriously did hear Dillion sang "A, B, C, D"! Although pronunciation was not right.. but he got the right tune!

When we ask:
"How does a bird fly"- He will flap both his hands
"How does a fish swim"- he will put 2 hands together and do the swimming actions.

On Aug 07:
After relating the embarassing incident at ELC to Kevin, we made a trip down after D's eye check up as he wanted to witness his son's comic behaviour (over the stroller).

However, D pushed the stroller for awhile till he saw this baby piano display set and started to go ga-ga yet again!


He glued his bum and fingers tightly on the piano and refused to be carried away and started his meltdowns.. Daddy almost wanted to buy this piano for him till the retail staff told us that its cost $200++ (around there).. Gosh.. by all means and might we managed to drag him away!

I never watch wrestling when I was pregnant neither did we watch it at home with him but Dillion seem to have a flair in wrestling. And its not a good thing for he is always attempting to sit on my face!

Yes, my nose will soon be flatten by my dear son.

This morning, D woke up earlier at 7.30am then his usual 8am. Not wanting to be left alone (as Daddy left for work).. he attempted to wake me up by:
1. Pulling my hair
2. poking my face
3. lying his head on my chest
4. tugging my t-shirt
and lastly
5. do a free fall on my face and let me smell his stinky diaper

that jolted me up from my slumber. Yes i'm so irritated because i'm deprived of sleep. I gave that fellow a slap on his bum and proceed to wash up at 8am because i don't want my nose to be really flatten out by him!

I'm impressed with his legwork.. My son has got the grit and determination to reach the top. Oh boy.. i'm so proud of you! He has the makings of a true soldier.. hiak hiak(i think his daddy will puke!)

Beach.Babes.Volleyball..

Every weekday night, Dillion will chill out on the bed with me while i watch the telly and him clowning around on the bed.

He saw the beach volleyball drama serial on Channel 8 and started mimicking the babes on the beach. Its pretty hilarious as he tried to pretend to serve the volley ball (pls pardon my not so good sports lingo):

Jokes aside.. Dillion had been performing head stand stunt since last Friday. It was amusing initially but he refused to stop doining it on the bed! Perhaps he love to look at things the other way round?
