1st semi-solid- Cereal

Today marks my first attempt on spoon-feeding cereal to Dillion. I was so excited and anxious the day before as i'm not really sure how my cereal will turn out to be like. Will it be too watery, too yucky for him or will he reject spoon?

Actually my MIL have already started him by adding to his milk.. but i read that the proper of preparing a baby for solids is to start with spoon.

added 1 milk scoop of Nestle cereal with 30ml formula milk:

Result: too watery.. added too much milk. should have used boiled water instead after i read from the tin that milk is already added in cereal


That silly boy actually lick the cereal below his lip (see the photo above).. so no need to clean his mouth:)
Very relieved that Dillion love the cereal as he was kicking and making noise when i remove the spoon from his mouth.
As the guidline is to intro 1 teaspoon but i could not resist his eagerness so i gave him 3 spoon in total. Daddy was also given a chance to feed him .



Note: Tomorrow will go with 2 scoops of cereal.
