Fall

On a Sunday morning, I woke Kevin up to keep an eye on D who was co-sleeping with us while i go toilet to wash up.  Within a min.. i heard a 'thud' and my heart sank to the lowest level immediately because i knew i did not place any bolster or pillow on the side.

I shouted at Kevin and he jolted out of bed to carry our poor baby on the floor.  Dillion only started crying when he was picked up by the Daddy.
The brave one let out a soft cry... wow even softer then his normal cries which is pretty strange.  He stopped after a while being carried.

Needless to say, Daddy was extremely guilty.  And i also hate myself for taking D's safety for granted.  Just because my son is not so active in fliping does not means that he will not do a continuous flip.  He could have seen me getting off the bed and want to follow suit.

No use in finger pointing at whose fault this time.. Both of us took turn to cuddle D for a long time.. It pained both our hearts.

No baluku on D's head but his right cheek was red.. so i immediately surf Dr Sears for answer and took a ice cube to rub on his cheek as i saw a 20cents blue black.  Thankfully, the blue black faded in the afternoon.

D was back to his normal self soon after.  Babies are quite hardy arn't they!!
