Whats on his TV menu

Dillion loves and enjoy watching Brainy Baby DVD. I bought:
1. Right Brain
2. Left Brain
3. Peak-a-boo
4. Laugh & Learn
Each DVD cost $15.90 definitely value for money as it keeps him entertained so that my MIL or me can do our chores in peace. He is able to sit through the whole program.

Next: Barney- Sing & Dance.
Initially, i was sceptical about exposing D to this purple dino as i'm not sure what kind of educational values it will impart or if they sing crappy songs.

But after hearing from my friends/cousins on how their kids are so much in love and going ga-ga over this creature, i decided to give it a shot.

When D was first exposed to it.. he turned restless after 15min into the show. So we played the DVD more often then slowly he was able to sit through it.

Well, their songs are quite catchy i must say. Even Kevin can sing most of the songs. No wonder Barney had such impact on kids. I forsee myself attending their concert in 2 years time.
Now D will kick in excitement when we play the DVD.

Next: Baby Signing Time
I had my reservation on this. Initially i ordered this so that we can have better communication with D through signing instead of using crying.
However, after some thoughts that my boy may just rely on signing and refuse to open his mouth and furthermore, boys are known to be slow in speech development.
Anyway, either parents must learn how to sign otherwise its pointless exposing D to signing if i don't understand at all.

But i still let D watch this once a while (when i remembered). Surprisingly.. D can sign for 'Milk'. But mostly sign at wrong timing.. so sometimes when i offer milk to him, i will sign at same time.
