Looking after a child in discomfort is so challenging and demanding as he can't communicate and relate his wants and needs to the care giver.
Dillion cried the most for the past few days. The adults at home pamper him as everyone is heartache to see him down with high fever for so many days.
We fought hard to make him drink his milk and wasted so much milk powder.
Spoon-feeding medicine used to be a breeze until 3rd day where we had medicine splatterd all over the bed/clothes as we fought to have him swallowed them. In the end, it was the syringe that saved the day.
To conclude..
His fever subside on Tues but appeptite still not good. He was back to his active self on that day.
He finally recovered on Thurs and ate as per normal.
It was a learning and trying time for everyone but we are glad we made it and the boy has lost some weight :(.
