Please do not tell me the following reasons why my son is not walking at 16 months:
Myth: We carry him too often
Truth: He being a active crawler will scream if you restrict his movements at home
Myth: I should not sling him too long.. hinder his development
Truth: I sling him for a total about 1hr/day. Please do not expect a woman with no muscle to carry a 9kg+ boy whom can't walk.. unless i drag him on the road?
Myth: I do not take enough calcium during preg days
Truth: I drink milk and take calcium tablets everyday..
I'm getting so very irritated and tired of comments or suggestions given by people and sometimes insensitive remarks by strangers.
Guess D is just lazy.. he will do so when he thinks he is ready. Its so upsetting that some relate slinging = can't walk. Thankfully, I have a few mummies friends whom sling their babies and they started walking early!
My son is special in my eyes!

hihi! I was blog-hopping, hope u don't mind me hopping into yours :)
On the other hand, I've got people chiding me off for letting my A walks too much on her own! aiyoo.. those people.. so I understand how u feel :(
Well, how about letting D climb? my A learnt to climb up stairs before she started to walk. She was climbing up 3 floors at my PIL's on her own while the adults walk up by her side.
To me, that's another mobility development :)

your blog is my cooking bible :)
my D is already an expert in climbing steps unassisted :)
