Few weeks back.. Dillion was rejecting his red potty whenever I placed him on it. He screamed and simply refused to sit on it. I was puzzled as what could have caused such rejections from him.
Nevertheless, I never give up and keep trying till last week, I placed the potty infront of me (I'm sitting on a stool) with D back facing me and finally sat on it! Thinking back.. i normally placed him on the potty facing me.
Strange yeah? Perhaps he felt secured with me behind him.. giving him support.
D still cannot verbalise his needs to pee/poo so this potty training is still not a success.
I noticed that when he is placed on the potty.. he will either pee or poo in it most of the times as compared to before.
