Need to vent it off..
Sometimes when a child scream at you rudely(for being in his way) or throw his toys all over the place on purpose right in front of you eyes.. you do not scold or tell the child that its wrong and do not even correct the child instead you laugh it off and just say "Ahh you so naughty".
Your reasoning is that the child is still young and may not understand but how old then will they understand? And so the child will assume they can do it and bully the person with no regards of who he/she is?
When the child is spanked for his wrong doings.. the child ran straight to the good person seeking refuge making the disciplinarian a bad person.
Sometimes, I wonder should there be a bad and a good person to neutralise the character of a child.
