Spare the Rod, Spoil the Kid..

There was a pasar malam and we trooped over with an intention to get a rattan.
We even asked Dillion to choose the colour much to the amusement of the stall holder and passer by whom turn back and smile at us.
Green was the colour he chose and he was excited about his new 'toy'.


I also bought the metal ruler to be kept in the bedroom and the cane will be in the storeroom.

So far its been effective. Once used the ruler to hit the door to frighten him when he was making a big fuss, not wanting to sleep.
And the cane been used to get him to stop crying. So far we have not lay the rod on his bare skin and we don't intend to do so.. just to scare him as he is getting out of control at times. Well.. boys are always naughty. Right?
