Miscarriage

Yes as per the title.. I was pregnant a month ago and I lost it.

This is a pregnancy that both Kevin and I been wanting and hoping for. We long wanted another baby in our family.

We were ecstatic when we knew about it on 20 June when I tested positive. Things start going downhill since then.

I went through painful jabs, seen gynae 3 times in a span of 4 weeks due to spotting.. and went through emotional roller coaster rides.

From the visits to the Gynae.. we can only see the water bag but NO BABY inside the bag.
I have a haunch that this pregnancy will not progress. But I hang on.. hoping that a miracle will occur so we even told our extended family this piece of good news.

Due to hemorrhage pregnancy (excessive bleeding) and a case of blighted ovum .. I was admitted to TMC on Tues night.
I did a Dilation and curettage at TMC today.
I'm thankful that this is a painless ordeal though I was so scared prior to the surgery that I may not wake up. My Gynae- Dr Khi and nurses at TMC are very comforting and nice towards me.

I'm recovering well at home.

We are coping well with the loss. Not really that affected because we lost a water bag and very relieved that there was no life in it.

Dillion is still our source of inspiration. We can now shower our love and attention back to our lil' King! We have also learned to love Dillion much more because Life is so precious and he is indeed our Miracle of Love :)
