1) When you need lil' rascal to stop his antics or to do task like getting changed or brushing teeth and we do the time-out method.. and say e.g. "I count to 3. Please do xxxx or we will take the cane/ruler" Then we starting counting "1, 2, 3.."
He will count with us and even continue from "4 to 10". Oblivious to what is happening.. in short "Act Blur".
Actually amusing because you don't know if should continue to keep a stern face or laugh it out.
2) We warned him many times never to touch our keyboard when we are using the laptop.
He will stand beside us and
1) Tap our fingers instead ; or
2) Lay his chin on key board.
This one.. i really salute him!
===================
I think I need a bible or a manual on how to handle kids.
September's Young Parents Magazin, Page 176 relate what I'm going through now
"Mum's words simply get lost in translation"
Mum: Pack your toys back into the box
Kid's thinking: No, really just leave it on the floor!
Mum: No, don't...
Kid's thinking: Great, do it again!
Sounds familar?
