We initially planned to go Japan (during the Natas Fair) but we had to pay full adult fare for Dillion hence we decided on Mauritius as the Hotel's spokeswoman was promoting Movenpick hotel and we were blown away by the photos (of the hotel) and the beautiful beach and only need to pay for child's air ticket for D.
We had breakfast at Burger King in the airport with Sherlynn and her family before their flight to HK.

D slept for 3 hours on flight and entertained himself with doodling and in-flight entertainment
Afer 7hors of flight and a 45min coach ride..we finally arrived at the Movenpick resort at 5pm (Mauri time but 9pm SG time). We were brought to the reception whilst they process our check in.. Some splendid view on a sunny day:
We were given an upgrade to a Deluxe Family room with an adjourning bedroom for kids. The room was huge and exactly what we seen when we booked the package. The bath tub was big enough for the 3 of us and is also D's favourite hang out in the room:

We rested for a while then head out for the buffet dinner. Then came back and crash out on the bed as we were all so tired.
