Our grand plans was to shift Dillion to his own room (which is currently the boys' playroom cum our study room) once he turns 5 in April. But we did not get to do it as we were too lazy to do up his room i.e. getting bedroom furnitures for him
So we started to get him off the bed that he been sleeping with me since he was a 6 month old baby.
Our arrangement was that Dillion and I get to sleep on the bed while Kevin and Damien will be sleeping on the floor mattress.
So we negotiated with Dillion to try sleeping on the floor on his own and we will slowly shift him to his own room some time later!
It was easy and now he will fall asleep on his own while I accompanied Damien on the bed. And so as not to make him feel left out, he will get to sleep on the bed with me on Fridays and Saturdays!
