Its recommended that parents can stop sterilising their bottles once the baby reach 6months as they will be on solids and can't possibly be sterilising the utensils, pots, plates etc. And also they will be picking up stuffs from the floor and put into their mouth.
But I'm still doing the washing and sterilising everyday without fail. Its been like a routine for me. I don't feel good if I do not do it.
Perhaps i felt that teats will be in their mouth longer than spoons and forks.. hence there is still a need to sterilise them.
Maybe I would consider to stop sterilising his bottle in a couple of months or when i change all his bottles due to the BPA scare as its recommended to change their bottles every 3months.
