Batam 2-3 June 2012

My colleagues bought a couple of vouchers from Deal.com.sg for a 2D 1N stay in Batam's Harris Hotel.

So I decided to bring the Boys along as well since we have not been to Batam.

We took up the $89 package per pax that comes with buffet breakfast, 1 hr massage and free outdoor activities within the hotel ( which exclude extra surcharge due to peak weekend season )

Took the ferry from Harbour Front at 9am. Look at the scary load of human waiting to board the ferry

There were free transfer to Harris- Waterfront Batam Hotel and we reached there at 12pm(SG time). There did a welcome dance and drinks upon arrival

The boys enjoy free popcorn from the hotel while waiting for our room keys

The hotel staffs invited Dillion to dance along with them when another batch of guests arrived and he was a sport and joined in!

We were give a room at their new wing and pretty pleased with the room with pool view except that it does not comes with a bath tub much to the boys' dissappointment.

View from our balcony:

We went out and did the usual touristy stuffs as we chartered a bus to places like the famous Tua Pek Kong temple and to the Nagoya Hill Shopping Centre.

We were excited to see A&W there and I do miss their Coney dog and root beer float!

Headed back to our hotel on our own as the boys were too whiney and cranky as it was past their nap time.

But they decided that since the pool was to tempting that they went for a dip!

We bought a cheap SGD10 Thomas train from the shopping mall..

Nightime:
We were given 1 free bowling game which is within the hotel vicinity

There were other outdoor activites which we were not able to join my colleague because of the kids
Like 4wheel drive, shooting, massage..

So the boys had fun chilling out in the room and playing with the gadgets!

I would recommend this for a family trip if you prefer to stay indoor and enjoy the activities inside the hotel!
