Scratched by a Girl..

I hate and have phobia of receiving phone calls from the Boys' child care centre when I'm at work.

On 9th July 2012, Damien's teacher called and reported that the was scratched by a girl in school.

My heart sank.. because he already had a scratch mark below his left eye and leaving a stubborn scar that refused to fade.

And now another facial injury?? I was pretty calm over the phone.. I hang up and got Kevin to hurriedly pick him up and snap a photo for me.

I called the Teacher informing her that we may be seeing the Doc and claiming the expenses from the Girl's parent.. thats before seeing the extent of his injury.

Thankfully, it was not serious with just a faint red mark on his face which went away leaving no scar behind.

I know is very common for kids to fight or hurt others so we did not make a fuss over it and decided not to pursue this matter. The Parents were apologetic though they did not tell us personally but they gave Damien a bag . And both of the kids were still toddlers so they would never understand the severity of their actions.

If you see closely, there a old faint scar in the middle. You can see a faint red line on the left eye, towards his nose

Still a happy boy to go school after the incident!
